FlexScape now offers Social Networking for Private Club Members.  The initial goal of FlexScape was to make the club web site a 4-way communication tool:

• Communication from the club to the membership – Email, Web Site Updates, Updates to the Club Facebook Page, Updates Directly to a Members Phone
• Communication from the members back to the club – Surveys, Blogs, Email, Event Registrations, Dining Reservations, Court Reservations
• Communication among the staff at the club (Staff Intranet) – HR Information, Employee Schedules, Discussion boards

And Now

• Communication amongst the members (Social Networking) - Who is Online, Internal Chat, Internal Messaging, Your Wall with message and photo galleries, Image Tagging, Your Personal Reservations Calendar

The club is meant to be a social network.  The more the members communicate and enjoy one another, the more successful the club will be, especially now with the shortage of private club members.  Social Networking at the club has never been more important.  On the club web site members can chat about club events or upcoming club events.  Members can also create groups of fellow members to send messages inviting them to club events – this is a great way to get members more involved in the club and participate in more club events.  Members can post messages and images on their own page of the web site – they can also control who the other members are that can see their page.  Images are a big part of any club web site – Members LOVE to see pictures of themselves.  We all remember the bulletin board at the club with 10 photos of members at the 4^th of July party.  Now clubs post 30 – 40 pictures of members at most events at the club and NOW members can too.  This also includes tagging of images.  Now your members can “tag” or circle a fellow member in an image tag the image with that members name.  We all have wondered who that other person in the picture really is.  What a great way to help members learn the names of other members.
